Physical and Chemical Properties | Properties Zirconia chloride hydrate is a white four-corner crystal, soluble in cold water, ethanol, ether, slightly soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid. Decompose in hot water. Heat to 150 ℃ to lose six molecules of crystal water, and lose all crystal water at 210 ℃. The aqueous solution is acidic, and a white precipitate of zirconium hydroxide is formed after adding alkali. |
Use | Uses Zirconium oxychloride hydrate is an inorganic metal compound, which can be used to make steam lamp lampshades, fabric dyeing treatment agents, emollients, greases, antiperspirants and waterproofing agents. |
